sO YOU'VE BOUGHT YOUR PHRESH CANDLE?

Proper candle care is essential to the longevity of every candle!
Read on for our essential tips to ensure you are enjoying your candle until the last burn.

    • Keep burning candles away from children and pets.

    • Make sure your candle is placed on a stable, heat resistant level surface.

    • Trim your wick to 1/4” prior to each burn. This helps prevent uneven burning, carbon build up, and soot.

    • Ensure your candle is at a safe distance from any flammable materials.

    • Be sure your candle’s wax is free of debris.

    • Avoid placing your candle near drafts, heavy airflow, or vents.

    • Never burn in an unventilated room.

    • Burn your candles for 2-3 hours each time you light it. This will allow the candle to burn evenly.

    • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

    • Relax! Allow the candle to burn until the entire top layer of the candle is liquid, reaching from edge to edge across the candle. This prevents “Tunneling.”

    • When burning multiple candles, place them a minimum of 3-4 inches from each other. This is to ensure they don’t melt one another, or create their own drafts.

    • Extinguish your candle if the flame becomes too high or if it begins to flicker continuously.

    • Your candle container may become hot. Do not touch or move your candle while it is burning.

    • Allow your candle wax to cool before trimming or relighting.

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended! Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or going to sleep.

    • The best way to extinguish the flame on your candle is to use a candle snuffer or wick dipper.

    • Do not touch or move the candle until it has completely cooled.

    • Never extinguish candles with water. The water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might cause the container to break.

    • Store candles out of direct sunlight and cover when not in use to prevent dust and debris from settling in the wax.

    • Stop burning when there is less than 1/4" of wax left in the container or when to bottom of the container is visible through the wax.

    • Do you even recycle, bro? Now that you have exhausted your candle, find ways to repurpose or reuse the container.
